Hello my name is Eun Seo Lee and I'm going to introduce °æº¹±Ã palaces.

There were 5 palaces during the Joseon Dynasty. They are °æº¹±Ã, â´ö±Ã, â°æ±Ã, °æÈñ±Ã, and ´ö¼ö±Ã palaces. The °æº¹±Ã Palace was the main and largest palace among them. The name of °æº¹±Ã means "The Palace of Greatest Fortune". King ÅÂÁ¶ built this palace for his dynasty. There are mountains behind °æº¹±Ã palace and a stream at the front. According to the dz¼öÁö¸®, this was the perfect location.

In °æº¹±Ã, there is ±ÙÁ¤Àü in outer palace. ±ÙÁ¤Àü is the throne hall and the main building of the palace. It may look like a two story building, but it is actually a single story with a high ceiling. Ceremonies such as coronations, royal weddings and Chinese envoy receptions were held here, as well as national office works.

»çÁ¤Àü is a part of the outer palace, and it functioned as the king's office where he does his daily work. Here, the king would gather with his officials to discuss political affairs or study Confucianism.

°³çÀü is a part of the inner palace. This was the king's living quarters, where he would sleep and rest after work. Sometimes he would hold dinner parties and discuss national affairs with his officials here as well.

This is all for now and thank you for reading. : )
