When we visit palaces what we can see from the roofs are the Japsang. By the number of Japsang we can know the importance of the building. °æȸ·ç has 11 Japsang, so we can know that it was an important building. I thought that °æȸ·ç is the most beautiful and meaningful building in °æº¹±Ã palace, because of its beauty. °æȸ·ç pavilion was used as place for relaxation and official parties. Whenever, I visited °æȸ·ç I felt like it was placed in a very great place to be harmonized with the beauty of nature. Korea has four seasons and this °æȸ·ç has the beautiful window frames. These window frames compliments the view very well because from the inside the frames make the view like as if it is a picture. Also, from the pillars we can know that the belief that the earth is square and the sky is round. Like this ideology, the outside of the pillars are straight square and the insides are rounded. This made me realize that Korean were not just highly advanced in technology but also advanced in reflecting deep meanings into the important places. I think that these details of the palace are very similar to the very well made fantasies. Fantasies are not real, so it is possible to brainstorm the whole concept and make it, but in real world it is not easy to give each part of the palace with meanings. Korean Palaces are something that succeed to give every part connections and depth. Especially while learning about °æȸ·ç, I felt that our heritages are not just interesting but extremely remarkable.
