Gwanchang was one of the two Hwarangs who sacrificed during the war between Silla and Baekjae. I only thought tht Gwanchang was killed during a battle while just fighting but the truth was different. During the war Silla was losing their fighting spirits, so they sent the two Hwarangs to go and get sacrificed to give Silla some fighting spirits. I think that maybe this was a helpful strategy to fight for the war, but it was so cruel. 

   I think that Gwanchang was an amazing and brave person, because he was a Hwarang who had many abilities in various areas. Also, It is not sure, but he may have been the one who volunteered to save his country. Like this he was a young bright and brave person. I think that I would have not volunteered if I knew I was just sent to be sacrificed. But do you think that Gwanchang was aware that he was going to get killed? Even if he did or did not, I think he already determined to sacrifice himself and fight or his country Bakjae. 

    Hwarang had five important roules to follow. First, to be loyal to the ountry, Second, have respect and love for parents, Third, trust among friends, Fourth, Never retreat in battle, and latly, Don¡¯t kill anything without reason. I think that Gwanchang followed these rules with all his heart. So, I would like you to remember this brave young Hwarang, Gwanchang.
