Interesting Facts About Gyeongbokgung Palace

Hi, my name is Jiyu, and I'm going to talk about interesting facts about Gyeongbokgung Palace. Palaces show us history from the past. We can learn many interesting things in palaces.
At Gyeongbokgung Palace, there is Gwanghwamun Gate. We can see nine dragons and four Haetae there. If we go inside the palace, we can see Geunjeongjeon, the main building. The king worked and held ceremonies there. There are ranking stones in front of Geunjeongjeon. Officials stood next to the ranking stones. Officials with a higher rank stood closer to the king. There are rank badges on the officials¡¯ uniforms. Civil officials had cranes on their badges, and military officials had tigers. High-ranking officials had two animals on their badges. Let's go to the inner palace. The inner palace is where the royal family lived. Only a few people could enter it. There are Gangnyeongjeon and Gyotaejeon. There is also a back garden. The king and the royal family could rest there. I think the palaces in Korea are very interesting and beautiful. I hope many people visit Korean palaces.
