Today, I went to War Memorial of Korea. In that place, there were many histories of korea's war. Among the histories, I want to tell you about Hwarang.
Hwarng's meaning was 'beautiful men like flower'. Hwarng were an elite group and young men. They were sons of royalty and noblemen. They usually made of 15~18 age's men. They study together and practice martial arts. They were very brave. Many Hwarang became worriers, like general Kim Yushin. And they have five rules. First, Loyalty to the country. Second, filial piety. Third, Trust among friends. Fourth, Never retreat in battle. And last, Don't kill anything with out reason.
I felt interesting by War memorial of Korea. And generals were great. I want to go to War memorial of Korea again. |
