A long time ago, Goguryeo was a very big and powerful country in East Asia. Because of that, Sui China didn't like Goguryeo. They attacked Goguryeo, but because of desease and storm, both the soldiers who fought on land and the soldiers who fought at ocean were damaged.

Even though they lose, Sui China attacked again at 612. This time, they gathered 1 million and 130 thousand soldiers. They attacked Ansiseong, which is a small castle compared to Sui China's soldiers.

But they couldn't get the castle over 4 months, and they lose completely at Salsu river. This battle is called Salsudaecheop, which means 'a battle that we completely won at Salsu river'.

I thought that Goguryeo was amazing in strategies, and I'm glad that we won. But I also hope that a battle like this will not happen again.
