Today I learned about many UNESCO heritage that are from Korea. There were many beautiful ones form 3 kingdoms, especially Baekje. The most awesome one was the Gwanggaeto king tombstone. Gwanggaeto king tombstone is located in Jian which is in China because Goguryeo used to rule over China's territory too. He is the 19th king of Goguryeo and he ruled over a big territory. He didn't lose a battle. His real name is Damdeok and Gwangaeto is his king name. His amazing achievements and Goguryeo's foundation myth is written on the Gwanggaeto king tombstone. This monument is also important because it proves the accuracy of <Samguksagi>(삼국사기). I was very happy that lots of our country's artifacts are one of the UNESCO heritage. Thank you! |
