In Joseon, the national ideology was confucianism. Confucianism is not believing in any gods, and trying to make the world better. They say that if everyone is completing their roles, than the world will flow very well and peaceful. It was created by the confucius. In confucianism, they teach 3 confucian guides and 5 confucian relationships. 3 confucian guides are first, the king is the origin of the officials, second, father is son's origin and last, husband is wife's origin. 5 confucian guides are first, between parents and kids, there should be kindness, second, between king and officials, there should be faithfulness. Third, between husband and wife, there should be separation, forth, between elders and young, there should be orders. And last, between friends, there should be belief.

I feel like 5 confucian relationships are more important the 3 confucian guides, because 5 confucian relationships includes the 3 confucian guides and has 2 more that are also important. Thank you so much.
