Hello my name is EunSeo and today I learned about life of Koreans. I was impressed by Koreans birth to 100th day celebration. So I'm going to tell you about it.

When a baby was born, a straw rope was hung over the gate. People hung the straw rope to protect the house from the evil spirits and to warn people not to enter the house. The ±ÝÁÙ was used like when giving birth to a baby, the livestock in the pack gives birth or when a ritual is held in the village. Also making soy sauce or soybean paste, or when digging a public well, a ±ÝÁÙ was drawn. The way they are hung on ropes were varies from region to region but usually if a boy was born, charcoal and red peppers were fastened to the straw rope. If a baby girl was born, charcoal and pine branches were fastened. They thought the ±ÝÁÙ was blessed, so they didn't just throw it away. They burned it and buried it in the ground. That way, it could return to nature.

In Korea, when baby turns 100 days old, they held a special party just for the baby. people believed that the child would live long if the family shared rice cakes with many people. The family made rice cakes and passed them around to neighbors.

When we combine some keywords like 'share', 'kind', and 'together' I think it become one picture 'K-culture'. Particularly 'sharing culture' represent Koreans food culture. Today I also feel the mother's feeling like happy like nervous.
 Thank you!
