Dongjae and Seojae are the dormitories for the students in Seonggyungwan. About 6 people slept in one small room. When a new freshman student came to the dormitories, they were greeted in the front yard of the dormitories by the seniors and juniors. Their day started with the bang of drums at 6 a.m. After they woke up, they washed their faces and started reading. And another drum bell rang for the breakfast. They ate breakfast in the Jinsasikdang. There were basic rules that students had to follow. And the students that had houses close by also had to live in the Dongjae and Seojae. 

When students had problems about their daily life, they had a meeting called Jaehoe and solved it together. It was like a nowadays student associations.

After visiting the Seonggyungwan, I thought that the students of Seonggyungwan must be the great students and very smart. Thank you!!
