Today, I went to Changdoekgung. Changdoekgung was very big, and very enormous. I had to walk a lot, so I didn't like that. I especially liked injeongjeon, and I will talk about it. Ingeongjeon is the throne hall in Changdeokgung. It had stones showing the officials' rate and the separation between civil officials and military officials. The throne hall had lots of yellow-golden things, such as the doors. And on the gragon ridge, there was plum tree flswer, symbolizing the Daehan empire. And on the ceiling, there was a bird, pheonix symbolizing the Daehan empire. There changes happened when King Gojong changed the country to Daehan empire and King Sunjong started to live in Changdoekgung. Today, I was very surprised of the palace's size. It had lots of things to see and they were interesting. Thank you. |
