Today we went to the Seodamun museum of natural history. First we went look at how earth was made. Earth was made about 4.6billion years ago and the Big-Bang. Big-Bang is a theaory which explains the creation of the vast universe. The theary of Big- Bang is that 2 enormous materials collided and the impact made an stupendous energy and that energy made the universe.
Also Sun was created by scattered pieces of gas synthesized and made the Sun. Then bits of gas and rock alnalgamated into the 8 planets. Originally there was Pluto but it was too small(the 1/4 of the moon). Also the orbit was not a direct orbit but an ovate orbit. Another planetes in the solar-system are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Satern, Uranus and Neptune. Mercury's(orbit) year is the shortest in the 8 planets. It's mass is 1/18 of Earth's mass. It's day is 176 Earth days. It's temperature can go to 420~450¡É or -170¡É~-180¡É. Venus's mass is 0.18 smaller than Earth and the core is steel. It's surrounding has acid and acid rains are strong acid so it's totally inhabitable. Earth has a lot of air to breath and a magnefic field. Mars has a iron so it became red. And it's atmosphere is 1/100 as Earth's. Jupiter has a great red storm. There are no friction so a storm is likly not to stop. Saturn's ring is bit of rock and ice. It is just 40km thick! Uranus and Neptune are made from methane and ammonia. It's so suprising how the 8 planet so different even though they are in the same solar-system.
Next we went to see the dinosaurs. There are a lot of them and they are mostly carnivore or herbivores. Herbivores protect themselves by horns and carnivores has strong legs, sharp teeth, and strong jaws. There are also omnivores. Omnivores eat meat and grass. We are omnivores too. Then an astroid fell into earth and all the dinosaurs became extinct. Some scientists say dinosaurs could have been a extinct because of an enormous volcanoe or an terrible diesese ,but I believe in the astroid theory.
I saw and learnded a lot. I want to go to the museum again. |
